The FF7 Page

This is my page of cheats and side areas. I have collected all the cheats I have found and used into this page. It also has a complete listing of side areas and extras you can do.

Limits:

Cloud-Omnislash-Fight in the battle arena at Golden Saucer until you have at least 32,000 battle points. You can exchange them for Omnislash, his level 4 limit break.

Barret-Catastrophe- Go to Coral once Meteor is in the sky and speak to the widow in the middle house on the west side of town. She'll give you Catastrophe, Barret's level 4 limit break

Tifa- Final Heaven- While in the flashback at Kalm, go to tifa's piano and play this:(T=trangle, O=circle, S=Square, X=X) X,S,T, R1/L1+T, R1/L1+S, C, S, T, R1/L1+X, O, X, S, X. You must play this farely fast. Later in the game, go to nibelhiem. While there, put Tifa in your party. Play the same song, and you will find Tifa's level 4 limit break, Final Heaven.

Aeris-Great Gospel- Speak with the sleeping man in the cave near Junon when you have fought a number of battles that end in the same 2 digits. He MAY-I repeat,MAY-give you a Mythril. Go to the Weapon seller east of Gongaga. Give him the Mythril. Open the little box and get the Great Gospel.

Red XIII(Nanaki)-Cosmo Memory-Go to the Shinra mansion in Nibelheim. Open the safe.( The combination is R-36 L-10 R-59 R-97) You will fight Lost Number. (I will have a page on how to defeat the bosses later on). Once you beat him, check the safe and you will get the basement key and Cosmo Memory.

Yuffie-All Creation-Go to Wutai. Have yuffie in your group and go to the dojo. defeat her father, Godo and you will recieve her level 4 limit break, All Creation.

Cid-Highwind-After getting the submarine, go under water to the crashed Gelnika. Inside the cargo bay, you will find Highwind.

Vincent-Chaos-After getting the submarine or a golden chocobo(and yes they DO exist), go to Lucrecia's cave, which is behind a waterfall and lagoon in the Nibelhiem area. (one of the water circles between thre mountains)Visit the cave with vincent in your party in disc 2. Then during disc 3, revisit the cave with him in your party and you'll get chaos.

Hidden Characters:

Yuffie-Go to any woods and run around. Eventually you will fight Mystery Ninja. Beat her. After the fight she will throw a fit. Answer her questions in this order: Not interested, .....Petrified, Wait a second, .....That's right, ......Let's hurry on. Yay! You did it! Now she's yours.

Vincent-Go to te Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim. Open the safe.(The Combonation is under Red's limit break). You will fight Lost Number. Beat him and then check the safe again. You will get the basement key. Go down the stairs to the library. On your way, you will see a slightly hidden door. Go in to it. There is a coffin in the center of the room. Go to the coffin and "talk" to it. It will open up and Vincent will come up. Speak to him until he continuosly says "Let me sleep". When you leave, he will join you.

Note: There is a rumor going around that Zack can join you. I am looking into this as we speak.

Side areas:

Key to the city: Late in the game (2nd disc) go to the gate outside of Midgar. There is a man there claiming to have lost the key at an excavation site. Go to the Bone Village and dig for it. Once you find it, you can go into Wall market and buy a Sneak Glove from the guy who sold you the batteries. This is an item that will make it easier to steal something. Although it is 129,000 gil (nope, didn't add an extra zero) it is worth it.
Crashed Gelnika: This is a plane that crashed and sank. Go to Junon. Go underwater. It is directly west of the Underwater Reactor. You can find lots of items in here. You may also fight Reno and the Turks. Be careful not to run into Emerald Weapon. If you do, YOU WILL DIE.
I suppose this is a secret...Go to Costa del Sol and you can buy the big beach house there for 300,000. There's not much to do there except rest your characters.

Turtle's Paradise Flyers: Collect all 6 flyers and you can get a Power Source, Gaurd Source, Magic Source, Mind Source, Speed Source, Luck Source, and a Megalixer.

#1-In the sector 6 slums go to a house by where Aeris lives. The poster is in a little boy's room.

#2-On the first floor of the lobby in the Shinra HQ.

#3-In the Ghost hotel lobby.

#4-In the weapon shop in Cosmo Canyon.

#5-At the wall in the Inn in Cosmo Canyon.

#6-Yuffie's garage in Wutai.

All Lucky 7's- If a character gets 7777 HP, that character will attack until the end of the battle, striking 7777 each time. My way to do this is to get hit until I have __77 in a wimp battle, then heal myself with potions/high potions until I have 7777. Then I simply enter a tough battle and kick the crap out of him.

Secret Cinema- After Cloud finds himself, go to Nibelhiem. Visit the basement in the Shinra Mansion. When you enter, you will flashback to you being in a truck with Zack.

Item Duplication-Get the W-item Materia. Go into a battle. Select the item you want to duplicate. Use it. Go to your second item choice. select it. Hit X. You will now have one extra of that item.
Special Materia-There are 4 of these, and you must have a golden chocobo to get these.
#1=Mime-Cave South-South-East of Wutai.(Mimics last move done)
#2=HP<--->MP-Top of western continent.(Switches max MP with max HP)
#3=Knights Of The Round-North-Eastern side of map.( BEST SUMMON IN GAME)
#4=Quadra Magic-South-Eastern side of map.(Allows you to cast four spells at once)
